Astrologers have long noticed the influence of the moon not only on earthly processes, but also on man. Not without reason, so many legends and beliefs are devoted to the earth’s satellite. The nature of influence changes depending on the phase of the moon. There are periods in which it is better to do some things and not take up others. Today we will talk about what the waxing moon means and how it affects people.
The lunar cycle is divided into four phases:
New Moon. During this period, it is impossible to observe the Moon in the sky with the naked eye. Influence on the person is usually negative. There is a state of general depression, often spoiling the mood.
Waxing Moon. This period is easy to determine, even without knowledge of astrology. If you mentally draw an imaginary vertical line to the crescent of the earthly satellite, and the result will be an “R”, then the Moon is rising. The human body tends to peak activity, both physical and mental, during the waxing Moon. The rising moon phase lasts for 15 days.
Full Moon. The satellite of the Earth is fully visible at this time, and its impact on people is particularly strong. The body expends energy during the full moon, which manifests itself in increased nervous excitability and emotionality.
Waning Moon. The last 14 days of the lunar cycle, when the sickle looks like the letter “C”. This period for the human body can be compared to autumn and winter for nature. Energy goes out, biorhythms slow down.
The phases of the rising and waning moons, in turn, are divided into two parts or quarters each. In the following, we will detail the first and second quarters, that is, the period when the Moon is rising.
How the waxing Moon affects a person
If you see a narrow sickle in the sky with the “horns” pointing to the left, it means that the first phase of the waxing moon has begun. It lasts from the 1st to the 7th lunar day, is connected with the Earth element and is associated with spring for the human body. After the apathy that a new moon often causes, there is a flourish, a higher mood, more optimistic thoughts and more energy.
At the beginning of a waxing moon, you may experience an unprecedented uplift, and you should use this time wisely. This is the most productive part of the lunar cycle in astrological terms – you get the most tangible results when you work during this time.
The second phase on the waxing moon calendar begins on the 8th day of the new moon. It is no longer a thin sickle visible in the sky, but a half moon, and energetically the period is considered to be no less powerful than the previous one. The energy that began to accumulate in the first quarter is still coming in, but the full moon is not far off, meaning its sharp discharge. So you should be less active in the second quarter so you don’t burn out during the full moon.
